Angry Bird plays with a deliberate error of classification: a fried egg appears where fruit is expected, becoming an intruder within the visual language of TuttiFrutti. Its presence interrupts the collection’s familiar taxonomy with humour and a small act of rebellion.
Made from a decommissioned traffic sign, the sculpture transforms rigid industrial metal into the fragile appearance of cooked egg white. Pigment and translucent resin create the glossy, raised yolk and irregular edges, shifting the material from public instruction to visual ambiguity.
