Bited II returns to the image of the bitten apple, transforming a familiar everyday gesture into an oversized physical absence.

The missing portion becomes the visual centre of the work. Its pale, irregular surface cuts sharply into the apple’s deep red body, while painted marks and suspended flecks disturb its polished appearance. What initially appears attractive and abundant has already been touched, consumed and left incomplete.

Created from a reclaimed traffic sign and industrial materials, the sculpture continues Scoobafish’s exploration of desire, consumption and the traces left behind.
