Nudist Peach presents a peach cut open and displayed frontally, with its flesh and stone fully exposed. The playful title anthropomorphises the fruit: it appears to pose without concealment, turning an ordinary cross-section into an image of vulnerability and self-display.
Warm flesh tones and the dark central stone give the sculpture an almost anatomical presence. A circular decommissioned traffic sign forms its industrial body, while pigments and translucent resin recreate the peach’s colour, fibrous texture and moist surface. The visible marks and irregularities prevent the image from becoming idealised or decorative.
